Sirens! Not the fun kind though...
The day began with the sounds of sirens for Mei. But her ears were ringing, not being filled with enchanting melodies. She curled up further into her sheets, the thins walls failing to block the sound from outside. Rolling over, her drowsiness was soon replaced by an aching head. She'd fallen off her bed. It was going to be one of those days. But on the bright side, ghosts were supposed to be more active in the morning. At least that's what Nainai said when Mei had visited her and her grandfather when she was younger. " Sunnu , be careful in the mornings." she always said.
